A few more projects

Alright. SOO. Yet again, SOOO busy lately, trying to get lots of hours at work so i can clear my schedule this upcoming week to leave on a cruise in the Caribbean!!! SO EXCITED!! Anyways, just recently I came upon two new items to play with... a new dresser (upright/tall one this time) and an old black leather jacket(NOT a cute one... kinda looks like a flashers jacket actually)! I am so excited to get started on some projects.. however, I dont know what to do with them!??

HELP ME!

I was thinking of maybe painting the dresser a matte cream color with warm brown distressing maybe? and maybe like a purse, bracelet, or moccasins with the jacket?? Idk, I need ideas!!! 

Also I am in the middle of making a coffee filter lantern it's taking forever... I actually suggest using a lantern.... -_- too little to late for me I'm using a balloon. Also Im making a hemp string lamp, and I'd like to make a doily lamp... Im kinda obsessed with lighting! If you don't know what Im talking about these are some examples, mine aren't done yet. I promise they will look that pretty when I'm done!

This is what MY coffee filter lantern looks like so far, I actually ran out of glue, so I wasn't able to finish it.... and I was late for work! And another thing.. I forgot to mention that I made a beautiful Magnolia(ish) flower that I wanted to share with yall!
I DO plan on making tutorials for all this stuff I'm making so be looking out for that! OH and my flower? Yeah. Its made of melted spoons!

I'm actually planning on spray painting it with matte white paint to make it less shiny, using sandpaper to rough them up might be a good idea next time.

Time Lapse

Hey guys, 
So sorry for the major time lapse between posts. At my house at school I live with two roommates, and they don't want internet quite yet, for the sake of bills, cant really blame them but I cant post anything when I'm there, so i have to wait till I'm home, home.. Which isn't all too often mind you.
Anyways, I found a great Natasha Wescoat painting that made me think of the cruise I'm going on w my fam (SUPER excited!!) and I've been working on my own version of it I want to add some more layers and metallic touches, but I haven't finished it because I ran out of white paint -_- my luck right?!? 
Anyways, I have a step by step sort of view of more and more layers being added of and I figured I'd share what I HAVE done.
